The most important aspects of Notebooks are that it syncs via Dropbox and that it can render many types of files, not just Markdown. You can think of Notebooks as a new way of looking and interacting with your files. And if Notebooks has a limitation (e.g., opening Word docs), you can jump to Dropbox and interact with the same file there.
Notebooks supports bucket-style writing in a BRILLIANT ways:
- It allows you to create a custom order for your files that is independent of its name.
- It also allows you to treat a file as if it is a task, so you can check it as started or complete. You can even set a due date for a file.
- It allows you to color-code files.
I highly recommend this app for the iPad Pro as it does things no other app currently does.
