Notebooks 8 App Reviews

I just upgraded to Notebooks 7 after using v6 and earlier for several years. Nice! I like the clean OS7 compatible UI and some of the new features, like text aligned lists. It synced immediately with my DropBox files for a seamless transition from the previous version. I tried Evernote before upgrading and decided that Notebooks 7 looks better and provides better, more flexible features.

do not down load this app if you are running iOS 8, it doesnt work. It doesnt matter why. It doesnt work.

PRE IOS8 = DONT DOWNLOAD THIS UPDATE! Crashes on start. Rendered useless because of this. Very frustrating.

This is an excellent, useful app for those who keep many notes and need them organized and accessible offline. Handles almost any format you can throw at it and the sync with Dropbox and the companion Mac OS app is solid (although the Mac app is lacking some of the features and polish of the IOS version). Its a professionally made, well maintained app and dependable for daily business use. My requests for future enhancements: - a checklist or checkbox function so I can add checklist within notes - an outliner feature with collapsible outlines. Bullet lists are ok, but a collapsible, moveable outline system would be better.

Very easy to use. Intuitive to use, organize, and reorganize what you put in. Set up to sync with my Synology (WebDAV) so iPhone and iPad stay synced (would be nice to have this automated). Dont need the Mac version to add pictures and documents, just drop them into the right folder on the Synology and they are picked up next sync. It doesnt convert your documents into some proprietary format so you can stick with common formats (txt, rtf, HTLM, PDF, jpg, etc.) and any work you do is future proof. Easy to use, easy to backup and sync, and future proof. This is the scrapbook/notebook/idea building platform I was looking for.

Ive been using it for years now and its been fulfilling all my notebook needs. It has all the usefull functions plus it can be synced over different platforms.

It handles pretty much anything you throw at it and I love the hierarchical system that allows me to move things up and down

Ive used Notebooks app since the first version, and its been on every device ever since. I poke at other notebook-type apps all the time, but always keep and use Notebooks. Simply the nicest and easiest such app.

One of the best info-management apps. Hope LUA or J-Scripting would be added ... I use Notebooks in conjunction with Trunk Notes on a daily basis.

As a specialist in Obs & Gyn, I review and receive new and important information on a daily basis. I got my first iPad after seeing the notebooks app and have used it since. I can readily save articles directly to Notebooks or add updates and pictures to my personal notes on a variety of topics. The search function makes it easy to retrieve the information. I share the app with all my personal devices with ease. An essential tool. MG

Reviewers need to wise up! This app is the worst note app Ive ever tried. Complete waste of time and money, mostly time. Nothing to see here move along.

I have successfully used this app to organize, save and sync a wide variety of files on my iPad, iPhone and Macs. It simply works great.

This is a very versatile application for note taking and capturing of information from the internet. Note taking can be done using formatted text (rich text format), markdown or plain text. The app can be used to store PDFs and web pages. The notebook analogy makes it easy to organize information and retrieve it when needed. Highly recommended.

Its not bad but syncing with Dropbox between different clients is unreliable. Needs iCloud syncing to be taken as a serious notebook app!

Dropbox is ok but iCloud syncing is way better and more reliable. Kindly implement iCloud syncing in future updates.

Without probing some of the very advanced features, Notebooks provides everything I need from a note application.

Please adjust pasting onto formated docs. The pop-up menu does not operate smoothly on iPhone((

Если ставить пароль, после разблокировки вы видите ранее введенный текст, затем вы видите nhe анимацию, которую the приложение показывает, когда удаляет документ. И ваш документ удален без предупреждения! Его невозможно восстановить! Проблемы появились после обновления на ios 8. Самое обидное, что это приложение платное... Very poor application. Previously, it was better. If you put a password and unlock you see the previously entered text, and then you see nhe animation that shows the application when deletes the document . And your document is deleted without warning ! It can not be recovered ! Problems arose after updating to ios 8 . The most offensive that this paid app ...

I searched for years for THE productivity app. My search stopped with the "Notebooks". Thank you!
